Please consider involving yourself in the work of the Lakeland Art Guild.  We have several positions available.  We also need more help in a few of the committees.  The individuals listed here are the chairpersons or the sole representative of each position listed.  They are members of Lakeland Art Guild's Board of Directors.  The highlighted areas are positions available that will hold a place on the Board of Directors. 

Other opportunities to serve are open as well and we strongly encourage each and every member to get involved.  We will be revealing over the next couple of meetings, some key elements that are being brought into fruition, where we will not only have an exciting area of opportunity to serve our community in a wonderful way, but we will be able to serve our artists as well.  We are here for local area Artists and we have a wonderful plan we are developing for our Wine Tasting Funds to be set aside solely for a three teired scholarship plan.  We also have another opportunity that will bring even more money into these funds.  The plan will benefit students, of course and we are also considering another wonderful program for "special needs" children.  But within our scholarship plan we will also be using 2/3's of that money to benefit and educate eligible artists within our Guild.  One part will benefit 1 member each year (in a big way) and the other part will benefit each and every qualifying artist.  And it will benefit the others as well as the public , however, qualifying artists will really reap some rewards.  The qualification will be that a certain number of hours for that scholarship year will be met by the artist to become eligible.   It doesn't matter what you do, whether it is receiving at a show, being a coordinator ect...a predetermined number of hours will need to be met. 

Folks, it will take all of us working together to grow and to really prosper, and we need your dedication in both fund raising and in service to the work of the Guild.  Most of what we are doing is unchartered territory, especially for us!  We are thrilled to bring to our artists a way that will inspire both service and participation in raising funds.  It will inspire because they will benefit greatly from it.  I am so thrilled with the way we are going, and I fully encourage each one of you to get on the bus.....before you're eatin our dust!  You know what I mean, lol.   Respectfully,
